Issue: On certain vehicles, the compliance label does not list the vehicle type in French and lists incorrect measuring units for the gross axle weight ratings (GAWR). This could lead to overloading of the vehicle and cause poor handling or a tire failure. Additionally, the tire and loading information label may be printed in English only. Canadian regulations require this information to be listed on the labels in both English and French. Safety Risk: Poor handling or a tire failure could cause a loss of control and increase the risk of a crash. Additionally, a label that is missing information in French could cause confusion. Corrective Actions: FCA will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your vehicle to a dealership to replace the compliance label. A French tire and loading information label will also be installed, if necessary.

Issue: On certain plug-in hybrid (PHEV) models, some connections on the integrated dual charging module (IDCM) and high-voltage ground connections may not have been tightened properly. As a result, the connections could overheat. Safety Risk: An overheated connection could create a fire risk, even while the vehicle is parked and turned off. Corrective Actions: FCA Canada will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your vehicle to a dealership to inspect the connections from the integrated dual charging module (IDCM) to the 12 V battery and two high-voltage ground connections. The dealership will replace and tighten them as necessary. FCA Canada advises to park your vehicle outdoors and away from other vehicles or structures until the recall repairs have been completed.
